Yahtzee

When I lived with my dad and his girlfriend for a brief time during College 1, we had a pretty regular game night. We would play anything from Rummy and Poker to Yahtzee to Dominos.

When I dated my now ex though still record holding longest boyfriend, we played Rook with his family at least once a week, usually on Sundays.

I have no one to play games with anymore. I have a stack of board games almost as tall as me that no one plays with me. Cranium is not a fun game by yourself, unless you're well adapted to split personalities.

I made DS play Yahtzee with me tonight. It's the least he can do, since he's the reason I no longer have any friends closer than a 9 hour drive.

On a different, though related note, I also have no one to see movies with. What about DS you say? Well, when I get excited about things like Rent and Harry Potter, I'm not all feel good about my only movie watching partner groaning and saying "you owe me." In fact, I don't think we've ever gone to to a movie which I didn't owe him for later. And of course, because he's never picked out a movie at the theater, or had any desire to see one, I owe him a lot of movies still.

Where are the rest of the super cool dorky people in this stupid town?
