It's a Good Day!

Maybe it was the inauguration, or maybe it was just that it was sunny and 75 again, but it was a good day. I was happy all day, I didn't sleep too late, and I had the gumption to come home after work and finish hanging all the framed pictures we have. Then, I did the unheard of... I cooked dinner. Not just any ol' thing either. I made mashed potatoes from real potatoes, and bruschetta, and tomato and garlic shrimp. DS and I enjoyed it over a glass of Riesling. yummy!!

In other news.. still undecided about the hair cut. I think it needs to be a bit shorter in the back. The crazy curls live along the hairline in the back, and at a 1/2 inch, they're choosing to stick straight out. Whacking them off should take care of that problem.
